Born in the Highlands of Scotland where he still lives, Gordon has been teaching different styles of Flycasting for over 25 years and fulltime for the last 15 years.

Featured in magazines in numerous countries across the world including the UK, USA, Japan, Australia and Canada. Gordon is frequently invited to demonstrate at top level fly Fishing shows in the UK, USA and Canada amongst others.

He worked as a Ghillie on the River Spey for over 15 years before taking a position as Head Flycasting Instructor at a popular Scottish Highland Estate where he has taught thousands of people the art of Flycasting on lochs (Scottish lakes) and rivers.
